We get it. Preparing for a job in the digital space can be tough. We're so used to everything digital but it's hard to know exactly what you need to know about the beast that it is.
Social media is key. Websites are key. It's unusual to find a business that doesn't have either of these things, and if you are interested in joining this industry, we have some handy tips for you.
Free Digital Webinars:
Um hello? Free stuff is awesome, especially when it can grow your skill set. SMK offers FREE webinars that explore different social media trends, influencer marketing, digital trends and more... They regularly update their news section and talk about everything that is new in the digital sphere.

Social Media Scheduling:
Often employers want to see that you can schedule social media posts. Do you have to be an expert? Absolutely not. But get familiar with some different platforms that could be used!

Practice some light design skills:
Once again, you don't have to be an expert. But it's an advantage to see that you know what looks good on social media, and what doesn't. Maybe you give making your own website a go? It doesn't have to be perfect, but it can prove to future employers that you have an eye for design.
Maybe you have access to Canva? Or Adobe? Practice if you can.
